COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Friends,

WE ARE STILL MEETING

Some of you may have been wondering about the status of the conference given the present concern about COVID-19.  Have no doubt, we will still be holding the conference on Shavuot weekend, and this has always been our plan.

NEW VENUE

However, due to concerns related to the virus, the city of Highland has canceled our reservation at the Highland Community Center.  It has been a bit of a scramble to find a suitable and willing venue on short notice, but we are grateful to the Glenn J Kimber Academy of Lehi, UT for allowing us to rent their building for our conference.  The address of the new venue is:

Glenn J Kimber Academy
46 North 300 West
Lehi, UT 84043

PARKING

The Kimber Academy is a small private school and the parking is limited.  However, there is plenty of parking just one street west on 400 W (there is a large dirt parking area on the west side of the street).  See the map here:

CHILDREN

The new location has a small fenced yard area where children can play.  However, parents are still responsible for their own children and no child care will be provided.  As before, please reserve tickets for children that will be joining us for the conference or for the lunch meals.

COVID-19

The Conference will not be placing, nor enforcing, any restrictions on healthy conference attendees.  Social distancing and the wearing of masks will not be compulsory.  We expect that those persons who are sick, at risk, or otherwise concerned will take responsibility and appropriate action for their own protection.  Altho we will be meeting in person, some of the speakers will be giving their presentations remotely via Zoom conferencing, and a link will be provided for those who would also like to view the conference proceedings remotely.  More details will be following.

Thank you all for your patience and attention in this matter.

Shalom.
